Emphasis is placed on strength awareness and mindfulness training exercises that are discussed and practiced every week and that make you get to know your personal strengths, and train your attention muscle. MBSP is about gaining greater awareness of what is, as well as exploring what is possible for you. You will experience how your attention and your strengths have a positive impact on each other. Bringing them together in a harmonious way benefits coaches, coachees, managers, employees, students, organizations, customers and suppliers.
Your facilitator is Maria C. Hofman, ICF certified coach with specialization in positive psychology, especially VIA strengths. Maria is an MBSP practitioner & leader, trained at the VIA Institute on Character, and an instructor Attention Training (based on MBSR), educated at the Scandinavian Center for Awareness Training.
Character strengths are the positive parts of your personality that make you feel authentic and engaged. You have all the 24 character strengths in different degrees, which gives you a unique character strength profile. It shows the 24 character strengths in your order with the strengths that come naturally to you at the top of the list, and strengths you do not use that much at the bottom of the list. The VIA character strengths profile is flexible in use, it can easily be applied for different situations and roles you are in.
